In the beginning when my surfaced it was as carpal tunnel and my left hand was much worse than my right, still in both. Now, as I do have neuropathy throughout my body, it does seem my right side is effected more than my left. My left foot tends to swell more, but the pain is always more prevelant on the right side. My right arm will ache, traveling down to my hand, then into my shoulder and neck--similiar to a pinched nerve feeling--sometimes it does radiate across to my left shoulder, yet I don't believe I have ever had the pain in my left arm, down to my hand. Hmmmmmmmmm:rolleyes:

Will any of us ever understand the whys of neuropathy?

toward your back, as though you were attempting to get something out of a back pants pocket?

My damage (to central nervous system) is worse on left side (especially left leg), and for a long time I had horrible trouble with my shoulders. Took a very long time for the impingements, frozen shoulder, etc., to resolve. The leg is still trying, and it is better, but still a great problem.

Hi Rose--I have terrible trouble with my shoulders, mostly the right side though. It's like a pinched nerve there most of the time. It goes into my neck and I often wonder if it's why I have headaches everyday too. So, you did get relief after a time??????????

Yes, but it took a very long time.

I didn't have a headache, although some do, but my shoulder and neck muscles became extremely tight before I realized I had a problem. And then, still before I became alarmed, I began developing impingements.

During my repairs, for a very long time, I had serious shoulder problems--even to the point of one becoming frozen. It took me well over two years to overcome the frozen shoulder, but contrary to what many physical therapists will say, one can still sometimes recover after such a long time.

Shoulder and neck muscles still a bit tight, but shoulders and neck are no longer enough of a problem to focus on.
