It just made me think of a kind of scam a family had used here a few years ago.
they said the grandson had some form of cancer - to get donations.
the local news carried the story too- until someone leaked the truth and they were investigated. they even shaved his head.

I'm sure the girl is truly paralyzed, but maybe it was not only due to the massage? Perhaps an underlying condition, soft bones, vein problems ect?

That is a big possability too, that type of scum that do scams like you mentioned makes it hard for the real sick kids to get the help they desperatly need, well i hope the grand parents got their heads shaved in jail

She may have been a ticking timebomb, with some underlying condition. But a representative from the hospital said that was the 2nd such case this month that resulted in quad from massage. They also went on to say that they have had many similar cases.

Who knows though, kinda like PN, a bit of a mystery.

But if it is a scam it is the most horrible scam I have ever heard.
