Default Laser?

What would happen if someone with PN had one of those laser hair removal treatments?.

I am asking this because of two reasons. The first one is that i was talking the other day to one of my friends who is having one of these treatments, she told me that she had long had a scar from a fall when she was a kid, she said she's taken 4 sessions and she has no scar any more, she said she also had some brown spots on her legs and now they have disappeared... we were not talking about PN, in fact i generally don't talk about this, she just mentioned it as something weird she had experienced. I am wondering if this laser can help in tissue repair, and so that leads me to the second question, i have read about a laser treatment for PN but i am not sure if this is the same type of laser.

My guess is that it can actually lead to more damage because she told me it actually hurts, but not exaclty sure, maybe it is the oppossite.

I don't trust this laser things much because i think anything that stops a natural process (hair growth) can have a negative effect, perhaps in the long term, maybe cancer or smtg, but since i have also heard about people recovering sight from laser, or cancer being removed with laser, i think may not understand laser well.

Just wondering

Thank you
