Redness, swelling, and skin changes are key. What does your neurologist say when you bring that up? Cymbalta would not be bad 4 u to try, since there is an emotional component to pain, and it may indeed help. my biopsy is going to NYC therapath. Sensory neuropathy sucks...one can have neuropathy and just be numb!!! You need to ge a neuro who knows this stuff...what state r u in?
be well,

I am in Arizona and supposedly saw a PN specialist in Phoenix. Right now I am dealing with the local neurologist (Prescott) who is helping as much as anybody right now. My skin biopsy went to therapath back east someplace so probably the same place yours is going. Well be sure and let us all know.
In the mean time it is put one foot in front of the other and keep on "truckin".
Yeah, I would like to be "well" again but hopefully you will find the solution to your problem and "be well" soon too.
