Default Tightness in top of left foot and ankle...

Hello,

I have had acoholic neuropathy in my feet for nearly 5 years. It did progress and became quite severe. However, I have stopped drinking alcohol (for about 13 months now) and have been taking various supplements; mainly calcium, magnesium and Benfotiamine Multi B. (past 4 and a half months). I have been varying the dosage with the Benfotiamine - as I am not sure how much is suitable for me to be taking. "They say" there are no side-effects, etc., however, if I try to take 6 capsules a day, my nervous system appears to be overloaded - ie. my anziety seems to go through the roof.... Overall, though, the improvement has been significant in recent months. HOWEVER, the top of my left foot and up to my ankle is very stiff and tight. There is no problem with the right foot. Could it be that one side of my body is healing faster than the other? Any thoughts, feedback, advice - ANYTHING - would be greatly appreciated!!!

Lightbulb there are many things

that happen with the feet. You could have tendonitis,
arthritis, or tarsal tunnel (when the ligament around the ankle is too tight and compresses nerves).

One should always have a good podiatrist check for other issues.
There are many more that can cause problems.

And don't tie yours shoes too tight!
And don't wear tight socks. There are relaxed fit types now
at WalMart. Tight socks compress the nerves at the ankles.

Default Thankyou!

Thankyou for replying to my post. I think I should see a podiatrist to look into into further. Thanks again for your suggestion!!
