Default To Dahlek!!!!!!!

Dahlek: Hi....

Remember when you wrote this???…….

“Now, if you folks can find me a sort-of 'foot-sensor' pad...something that tells me my foot is square on the accelerator or brake...that'll do me for now.”

And I replied!!!!!!

“There is such a thing!!! well almost!!! A guy from NASA is doing research in diabetics and foot ulcers, etc. and he's invented this sensor pad thing.

I researched it and while it's not exactly what you are looking for NOW!!!, it is a thing that people place their feet on and it uses sensor cells to transmit messages exactly where the feet are placed. See where I'm headed here???

Don't laugh at me but I contacted the guy at NASA and asked him if there is any research anywhere (maybe even at NASA), to enable people with neuropathy to "feel" where they place their feet while they are driving. I explained the whole neuropathy thing”…….

Well, someone at NASA just e-mailed me the following message!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Melody:

Thank you for your interest in this work. I am sorry to hear about your situation. I have not had contact with Dr. Davis in some time now and am unfamiliar with the sensor pad you inquire about. I don’t even know how to get in contact with him anymore. I do think this would be a good device for people with diabetic issues. If you find out more on this area, I’d be interested in hearing what you do find. I am sorry I can’t be of more help to you.

Regards,
James D. Stegeman

BTW – Where did you find this information concerning myself and Dr. Davis? Just curious.

SO…… NASA NEEDS MY HELP!!!!!!!!!!

HAH!!!!!!

I emailed him thanking him and letting him know how I got his e-mail. Seems like one NASA guy doesn’t know what the other NASA guy is doing.
This guy Stegeman was mentioned in the report on the Sensor pad thing!!!
And he doesn’t know what I’m talking about!!!!
Good grief!!!

Default Well! I AM amazed!?!

I somehow figured that such a 'thing' existed, but checking out 'capper stuff, well it wasn't there!

Lemme check out these guys and well, then call NASA...A life time ago, I'd worked for the gummint and maybe I can get thru the phone heirarcy or the like and acquire what needs to be done or something.

Good, no GREAT work Lady! Yeah, NASA does need US! We know what it's like to lose the ability to relate the where we are in space time and the other whatevers on earth because our senses are skewed!. For us outer space would be not only a no-brainer, but, a non-issue.

Nomination: Melody-Heroine of the week! & it's only Wednesday! - j
