Default Feet slipping feeling synovial fluid

Hi,
A few months ago all of a sudden I felt an intermittent slipping feeling in my foot, even though my foot wasn't slipping. I didn't know when the slipping feeling would happen, so walking became frightening.
My podiatrist used ultrasound and found synovial fluid leaked probably from my subtalar joint at the top of my heel, deep behind my achilles tendon. He withdrew the clear fluid and I didn't get the slipping feeling any more. A few weeks later it came back, he withdrew the fluid and it is fixed again.
Anyone else tried this?

Welcome, Bradrwill!

I don't exactly get a slipping feeling but when in stocking feet or bare feet while walking lately I've been getting a weird pain in my left heel, as if I'm about to slip. It's as if most of my heel is numb and yet I'm aware of pain, as if in the bone.

This probably doesn't make sense but I do have diabetic neuropathy, and maybe this heel sensation is part of that.
