Default suggestions for neuro in midwest

I've been dealing with some sort of neuropathy for five years. I've been pigeon holed as "possible MS" and that's what I have been continually tested for. But, after reading here, I'm wondering if I don't have a form of PN that may have some CNS components.

I have seen about 8 neuros, and I do finally have one who at least seems to care, yet I don't sense that she feels a dx is that important. We are watching and waiting. Meanwhile, I am starting to progress again.

I want to find a neuro who will look for answers. I'm about three hours from Indianapolis, three hours from St. Louis (would it be worth seeing someone there? I've read about specialists there), three hours from Nashville, and two from Louisville. So, does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks again for all of your info and support.
