Default Hi

I'm new at this.
I have some sort of Peripheral Neuropathy.
I am on 3600mg daily of Gabapentin, 600mg 3x daily.
I don't like to be touched becasue it burns me, except for my head and back. I don't like touching my self on my face and neck mostly.
I have had this condition for about three years now.

Default Questions--

--you say you're on 3600mg/day of Neurontin, but 600 times 3 times a day is only 1800 . . .

And, what type of testing have you had? Did you keep copies of results and reports?

Hi. I can relate to not wanting to be touched. Actually I don't allow even doctors to touch my pain areas. It sends me into such a horrible flare up. I agree with others about what testing you have had and now what treatments are you doing? I hope you feel better

Hi,

You don't mention what type of doctor(s) you've seen. It sounds as if you might have small fiber neuropathy and/or allodynia, but that up to the docs to determine following a work-up. Neurologists are usually the go-to specialty for what you describe.
