I've noticed a change in a few other areas as well since I stopped using it. In general I feel better.

I have read that artificial sweeteners will spike insulin just like sugar will. In the Cell program(weight loss program) run by Dr. Jensen-Kittley, she does not allow them. By removing them she says people lose weight! I don't think there have been studies done however, to prove this. Those who do not allow artificial sweeteners believe that somehow our taste buds are involved neurologically to signal insulin release.

Oh... very interesting !

Hum.... it make sense to me... I mean, I feel fine with splenda, but things like that happen all the time in our body huh ? Like when our estrogen receptors "think" tamoxifen is actually estradiol....
