Last sunday i had an incredibly painful cramp in my right calf, very very vyery painful. It lasted many minutes, i would say perhaps 20 or more. Next day my calf was very sore and i had pain when walking. I mean normal pain besides regular neuropathic pain. I felt like my muscle or my tendon were hurt.
A few days after that, perhaps wednesday, the pain went away, i mean that pain, no neuropathic pain. On saturday, I went hiking with some friends, i walked long on a mountain. My calf is very sore today, it hurts and it feels very tight when i walk. I wonder if I hurt any nerve by hiking, or if i hurt a tendon or the muscle or why it hurts like it does. Should i visit the doctor, or just rest?? Should i exercise or take it easy for a few days? Thank you all! |

This is typical for severe leg cramps.
You might want to do some stretches before using your legs. This might help.
