Angry Wondering about Neurontin/Lyrica?

Well, the proverbial dirt has hit the fan:

http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?id=...ist-faked-data

This is not the first time Neurontin has been looked at.
Pfizer paid over 650 million in fines for falsely promoting it off label in the past.

It is always disturbing when doctors LIE. This guy certainly led to many people being treated because of his lies.

One has to wonder about drug studies these days. This is NOT the first expose of its kind.

I saw that, that is absolutely shady.

i wonder exactly how much Pfizer paid this guy for his "research?"

A Lyrica prescription, as many of you know, costs $250/month or so, just do the math!

Default Terrible

Both neurontin and especially, Lyrica, did me more harm than good. Their side effects were terrible for me and Lyrica was a little tough to come off of.

I cannot say I am surprised...

So, bad research, promoting drugs? Naw!! Capitalism at its best!!!!

I didn't take anything after my spinal surgery, now I'm really glad!

I do take 3600mg a day of Neurotin without any bad side effects. Lyrica is not FDA approved for SFN, so I don't take it (my ins. co. won't cover it).
