Default Benfotiamine

For those of you taking benfotiame, how much do you take per day. I think I read an old thread somewhere here that said 300 mg per day. (Naturally, I can't find the old info now.)

Thanks,
Doxie

I take one 250mg capsule every morning. I don't have any B vitamin shortage, but someone said it might help, so I take it. I don't feel any help from it, but have only been taking it for a couple weeks. Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but there are plenty of knowledgeable folks around here who can help you.

Lightbulb

I took 150mg a day after a month on 300mg.

I used it for 6mos. It helped with my burning episodes well.
I went off it as an experiment, and also to free up some money for some new things. I haven't needed it since.

Benfotiamine is stored in the body, so I may still be riding on those stores. Thiamine itself is not stored the same way.
