Question Alan and Lyrica

Melody, how is Alan doing with the Lyrica? I haven't seen you post anything new and because he started out so well with it, just wondering if this is still the case.

Hi.
Didn't you read his experience with the massage chair?. You'll laugh your head off.

He's doing very good with the lyrica. He takes the minimum dosage twice a day, one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. I asked him if it was enough to sleep at night and he said "no", so he still takes one and one half of the 0.5 of the xanax. He doesn't go to bed until 12 or 12:30 a.m. then he sleeps like a log. We have a humidifier in the room. Keeps the room moist so we all breathe better.

I asked him if the Lyrica took away the neuropathy and he answered "oh, it does take the edge off and I have better days". Now whether this means he needs more of it, well, I don't know. Next week we go to his appointment for the emg of his feet at the PN dept at Methodist Hospital. THAT SHOULD BE SOME DAY!!!

I shall update, not to worry. Right now, I'm making my famous fat-free blueberry muffins. Oh the smell of fresh blueberry muffins.

Right now it's like zero outside here in Brooklyn, NY. Outside the garbage pails are flying down the street. And where did my Alan go off to? Why, the gym of course. Today he came over to me and flexed his newly developed biceps YET AGAIN in my face and said "feel this"!!!

I almost mashed a blueberry muffin in his face.

Melody

Lightbulb Yes, I did...

...read about the chair. What a hoot - I would love to have something like that in my house. Any takers out there to buy Alan and me one

It kind of sounds like he might be ready to have his dosage upped some.

When will the blueberry muffins be done? It was 18 here this morning and windy. It seems like there has been more wind that last couple of winters. That just makes the cold that much worse.

Take care

I DO NOT LIKE COLD WEATHER!!! No way, no how.
I have an Aunt Marion who lives up in Coxsackie NY. She's 80 something. She told me that sometimes it's 5 degrees and she goes out in front of her house in just a sweater. I just listened on the phone because I thought she was losing it. Then she explained there was no wind chill.

Now here in Brooklyn, especially right now, there is a wind chill that could send me up to Coxsackie. It's blowing like the dickens out here.

Oh well, I still have my muffins!!!
