Default Lights on, is anyone home??????

I read in these forums and suddenly a light will come on and I think--hey, I feel that!!! I have learned so much from all of you. Truthfully, I think we do learn so much more from each other and what happens to us then we could ever learn from a doctor, especially one who has never experienced what we do.

I was reading Hey Joe's response in one of the threads. Joe, you mentioned that first one big toe went numb, then the other, then all of your toes and now sometimes it feels like you are walking on broken bones. When I woke in the night for that trip to the potty, (I shouldn't drink a bottle of water before bed, thank God I wake up ) as I put my foot on the floor to walk, I realized that is just how my feet sometimes feel, like I am walking with broken bones. The strongest pain is on the outside edges of both feet and yes, it can be excruciating. Sometimes that pain shoots all the way to my hips, sometimes just my knees.

I think the worst right now for me is the pinched nerve feeling in my shoulders, predominately my right shoulder. Then my neck gets involved, which in turn keeps me having nasty headaches everyday.

Then when I read in here that someone else has the same feelings, at least I know I'm not crazy. Be careful what you are thinking, all of you who think I am crazy anyways !

I just want to say--we are a great bunch of people, always sharing and ready to help another.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BETTER NEW YEAR TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!!!!

Here's hoping Santa is good to everybody and somebody invents a good treatment plan for PN.

Love, Melody
