Default Wow the heat!

Really I don't look forward to summer at all. My feet really scream and it adds much more stress just thinking about the fact I have ab out 4 months to endure. I live in SLC Ut and it gets in the 100's even.

I'm still working on getting the vitiamins if anyone has a good place to order them please send me a private message. I would really appreciate it.

- Marty

Hey Marty,
Awhile ago Melodi posted a link to some gel slippers you can put in the freezer or you can just run cold water over your feet or maybe a bag of frozen peas. The heat makes me miserable too, fortunately we aren't having a hot summer yet, but when we do I'm going to be in the house trying to stay cool.
Something weird is going on with me now, I'm experiencing leg muscle weakness in both legs all the way up to my hips, but only in the evening. My next neuro appt is 3 months away so I guess if this persists I'll try to bump it up. Very creepy, it's like I almost have to drag my legs......who knows whats around the corner with this condition??

I do the same when they get really hot! I come in the house take my socks off sit down and cool them off with something like a cold soda can. lol

Sorry to hear about the muscle weakness. Do they ache like you just run a marathon? Mine do that bad! The big quad mussels in my legs really start aching and it fatigue me badly. The only thing I have found that helps really is to work them out really good and often. If I get lazy for a week or two sure enough they start aching much worse, weird.

Howdy,
The summer heat use to bother me before becoming afflicted by PN, now I love the heat and the hot foot creams I use on my feet and legs. This affliction sure effects people in different ways. Good Luck

I can't do cold due to my RSD but was thinking that maybe going in the pool may help relax your body and keep the blood flowing.
