Default People you thought you knew treat you different.. UGH.. (insert curse)

IDK if you have found this to be the case in your life, but I am just starting to let people know that I have a chronic illness.

Its not going to go away, and I should let them know why I am going through all these tests.

My parents, grandparents.. all kosher.
They don't quite understand, but they haven't treated me any different.

My SISTER.. she didn't even respond!
I sat there like WTF?

I told 2 friends, 1 treated me like I was dying.
The other, didn't respond as well.

Its the non-responsives that really irritate me.

Like really?? We knew one another for how long and you've never been silent before.
I could tell you I want to die, and you'd write back.
But I tell you this, and you don't take the time to respond.

SERIOUSLY??!

It changes people.

I was just stating how I have lost family and friends to this. It hurts a lot but I try to focus on the people like mom who do support me and are there through every up and down. I too before did not open up about my health. Now I have more and though some try to fix who have no clue and some run away I do feel with certain people it has made our bond tighter. I think stating even if they don't understand what you need and what helps or not. Well sending thoughts.
