--I just posted to invite suggestions and debate, which does seem to be happening.
I do think it's an important issue, though. When you get to the numbers that Braintalk has, I don't really think it can be the purview of just one individual, or small group of individuals, anymore. One aspect of that has been the numerous reports of arbitrary moderator actions. I tend to err on the side of the belief that the more people involved in discussion, the more likely many sides/opinions will be represented and a suitable synthesizing compromise reached--as often happens in discussions on these boards about other issues. |
