I get extremely stiff ankles anytime I sit with my foot in one position or after I get up in the morning. I also get electrical shock type of pains in the ankles and feet. I believe this is the result of PN and I'm just looking for some validation from others who experience this as well. Please share your experience.
Thanks! |

Yup, it's PN!
Same thing happens to me too. You are not alone.

I limp around a lot from it. Its really bad when I first get up, its like the ankles just won't bend. The electrical pains are bad and I feel like my toes burn right around the toe nails. This is bad stuff

I do get the stiff ankles when I wake up along with the electric shocks but the worse part for me is the burning. Has anyone else had a nerve biopsy done. I had one and was diagnosed with small nerve neuropathy. I have recently been diagnosed with RSD. Does anyone have any ideas to help with the burning?

I have a lot of the same type of pain around the big toes. Does anyone have red feet with the Peripheral pain ?
During the day I use a Heel Balm on the feet. For me this helps with the pain so I can wear shoes. BonDon |

I use 'Biofreeze' or 'Icy Hot" menthol creams 2x day
(not the stick or applicator-the cream in the tubes) The menthol calms down the burning feeling. The zaps, and jolts, and ice pick jabs, are controlled (mostly) by Lyrica & Tramadol.
