I believe that David's explaination was 100% spot on, the only thing i could add to that is, make sure you have a neuro that is a PN expert, that way you will be giving yourself a much better chance of finding the culprit.
good luck
Brian

Have you had a chance to look at Liza's charts to see if there is any that you may not have had yet, as she has all tests for PN at;
http://www.lizajane.org/

Default Optimumeg...

Hi - how did your first accupunture session go? Everyone so far as you can see has different coping mechanizims - and whatever helps - go for it....

Also, when you say you've had "all" the tests - as Brian mentioned, the "lizajane spreadhsheets" are invaluable - and my docs - one who calls himself an "expert" in PN - hadnt done a number of them and and used the spreadsheets at a guide to order more tests......

I know we need a team of knowledegable doctors as well as personal strength to get thru chronic pain and disease - and I hope you can find the right combo....

I downloaded the spreadsheet and will go over it with a doctor in comparison to tests already completed.

First acupuncture could be my only one as I thought the guy was crazy and a scam artist. I just couldn't believe what he was doing to test things and treat them. I am going to contact him and talk about it and if I want to go again. He refused to treat my PN because he said that I had to work out other problems, like scar tissue imbalance and such.

Optimumeg,

I suggest that you keep David's 12/23/06 post (Wing42) close at hand, and refer to it often. He has provided some really good advice and encouragement for you and for all of us with PN.

Also, if possible, consider joining a PN Support Group where you can talk face-to-face with others who can understand and relate to your PN challenge.

Carlie
