Heart Dear MsCherokee

my heart goes out to you.

we lost our cat many years ago, at 17, and i still miss her. i was away when my mom was faced with a similar situation as you were. My mom had to take her in alone, and i was told immediately after the fact which hurt, even if it was not a surprise as i knew our kitty was ill. i was listless for a good while... i think any which way it happens, it is heartbreaking.

Try to take comfort in your other cats... they will likely be in mourning also.

And, remember the good times with Emmy. Like others here i am glad Emmy had such a loving home with you and your DH.

Sending you hugs and courage for this difficult time.

I'm sorry for the loss of your cat. It's really hard to lose a pet that you've had for so long.

I am sos orry for your loss ... 17 years is pretty good though in some cat breeds. My Murphy lived 14 years and died of complications from a stroke, I lost two other cats to cancer about the same age.

I am sure your cat a had a wonderful life and was obviously very loved. Again I am sorry for your loss

(((((MSCherokee)))))

Our furry loved ones may leave us physically, but a part of their spirit remains in our hearts.
