Smile Horses in for a rough week Heat is on

Hi everyone,
We live in the south and I hope all that is having the heat takes care of the pets.
I had 3 surgeries and I had to get the kids to put out the sprinklers and get things ready for this week we are going to be in the 100s and above. We have two dogs and three horses here and two horses some where else and the heat wave this year has been a good one.Anyway I just thought I would remind everyone about the heat , our pets are like spoiled kids and I know a lot of others feel the same way.We have two cats also but the fat cats are inside and as long as the air is on and the food keeps a coming they don't care ,haha.
Hope everyone enjoys the summer.

I live in the south as well, but I'm in the southern hemisphere. We're feeling the cold here right now after all our horrid heat and floods.

I hope the horses are OK. Maybe write lists for the children to make sure they put out the feed and water in case you're unable.

I used to look after a donkey named "okey dokey" and several shetland ponies on my property some years ago. It wasn't so much the heat here that was the problem, it was more the storms. Especially for Okey Dokey. The Shetland's knew no boundaries. They ripped up the fences the moment they looked at them and many a day was spent trying to find them.
