For anyone who likes dogs, fate, struggles, determination, stubborness, kindness, refusal to give up on an impossible case, just a darned good story, I'd like to recommend the book:

The story is about her finding and adopting an abandoned, nearly dead dog, taking it in, and having to go through an amazing rehab because she finds the dog has a dangerously aggressive streak, but she cannot find anyone/group who will do anything but put the dog down, which she refuses to let happen, so she sticks by it and finally succeeds. It's quite a story, great for all animal lovers, great for inspiration, and well written. Check it out, you can even read the first two chapters on the Amazon listing, as well as see a better description than I gave.
