Default Colorado Cat Turns Up In Manhattan

Quote:
"A calico cat named Willow, who disappeared from a home near the Rocky Mountains five years ago, was found Wednesday on a Manhattan street and will soon be returned to a family in which two of the three kids and one of the two dogs may remember her.

"How she got to New York, more than 1,600 miles away, and the kind of life she lived in the city are mysteries."

On our news a couple of days ago it said that there was a doggie (a Staffy) had returned to his home after being missing for several years.

One would really have to wonder about how incredible it is that these pets are ever found and especially when they make their own way home again. It's a little sad to me, because I think of my pets a little like children and when I hear of pets gone missing for years or pets finding their way back home after years, it makes me wonder what on earth they've been through on their journey.

p.s. Willow is an absolutely beautiful Calico cat. She's obviously been looked after along the way.

I wonder how that story will pan out. Must be people who cared for her because she looks pretty healthy and has shiny coat and eyes.
