Anyone have any proven method to stop dog from eating own poop. I have tried GNC pills, pills from vet, pineapple in food, pepper on poop and quickly removing poop after she deposits it. I am at my wits end. I can't stand over her and watch her relieve herself everytime to make sure she doesn't eat it. I have switched foods and she still eats it.

Have you been to the vet? Had some blood work done?

Our dogs go out and find the cat droppings
. ... but they don't eat their own or other dog poo... . We've tried various dog foods and none make a difference. Maybe just a oddball habit...they get into, if they are otherwise healthy.

The cat poop thing is pretty common. I've heard of that because cats eat a high fat high protein diet.
