Yup, seventeen days so far of switching cats approximately every twelve hours. My girls, Cindy and Peach, are ALMOST back to normal. Peach still won't walk down the hall by herself--thinks Cooper is going to shoot up the stairs and jump her.
My daughter is within a few weeks of having a place where she can take him back . . but she and her friend are still looking for an apartment in an area where they are scarce as hen's teeth, especially ones that allow pets. It could be 4-6 weeks, could be three months. So far the hard part is marching Cooper downstairs every morning when he isn't doing anything wrong--those eyes!!! He gets about three hours of "people time" in the evening and an hour in the morning, plus he gets the privilege of sleeping with me! Less than ideal, but if he's not traumatized (please God) by being locked up all day, it will be well worth it for my daughter to be able to keep him. For two years I listened to her tell me what a perfect cat he is and how she couldn't have made it without her pets...I think of that when he bats me in the face in the middle of the night!
