Before our last big move, hubby and I lived within walking distance of the Koala Hospital, and we had some living in the trees around our house.

If you'd ever thought you'd like of of your own.... you can adopt a wild koala through the Koala Hospital:
.

Here's a list of Koalas currently up for adoption:
.

Have a look and tell me they don't tug at your heart strings.

Red face

yes, they are special!

I saw this YouTube the other day...in fact.

.

That YouTube balanced the Koala with the humans very well, Chemar.

I missed the show, drat. I'll look for it again, though.

Lightbulb

I discovered in the wee hours, that this show was repeated at 2am! So I watched some of it. So much suffering and crying Koalas! I couldn't handle it all, so only watched some. All lined up in their plastic makeshift clothes baskets--as little beds!
.
Sometimes these nature TV shows have so much pain in them... I can't handle it all the time.

I was up a bit last night, because I went to bed too early. This warm weather, and getting Houdini ready for outside wore me out! We are enjoying the early nice weather, better for us to clean up all the oak leaves, and already harden off some of my seedlings early!
