Question Where is the little guy?

I am only seeing two chicks!
.

I had to work yesterday, but I did persuade the supervisor of the delivery service we now use (she was sitting there on the internet) to watch and keep that window open. We saw the terrible rain/storm and I saw 3 guys yesterday.

Is the 3rd chick out of the picture?

I have to leave at 7:15 am tomorrow, and won't be home til after 7pm, so please someone watch the banding. I'd like to know how that goes. Both of us have job commitments in the morning.

Exclamation Whew...

Thanks Doody.... I am such a soft touch... I was worried!

This pair did raise all 3 chicks last year, according to the blog... so I had
alot of faith that they could do so again. But that storm was severe, and the little guy might not have enough stamina for the cold/wet they had to endure yesterday.

I saw the mom yesterday in the nest covering the babies with her body and wings to safe them from the rain. What an amazing picture.
I am working out of my home, but right now I don't get as much done as I should. I always keep the picture on my computer so I can peek once in a while.

They all seem to be getting fed right now.

I happened to be looking earlier and was very surprised to see a view of them from a farther distance!!!! OMG you should see how far they are up in that tree! You could see the nest in the crook of the branch, and on a limb farther away sat one of the parents!

It was awesome.

seems the banding will now be at 3pm rather than 8.30 am
guess it is cos it is so windy there now???

Quote:
Eagle Cam Update: Tuesday afternoon, a biologist from the College of William and Mary will be banding the eagle chicks in this nest. Log on about 3:00 p.m. EDT to watch.
