Default yes...

I seem to recall that some predatory birds kill off nestmates...a competition of sorts.

But this family--- right now both parents are feeding again---- seem very
congenial. I only saw one snappish fight among sibs so far. They are very
well mannered during the feedings...I am very surprised at this.

I raised some naked 3 day old nestling sparrows...and they were just hooligans, stepping all over the runt, and fighting for food.
