Wisest Elder Ever

George Booth has a very strange sense of humor.
He was a huge favorite at the magazine The New Yorker for many years. I am not sure if he still is however. We found an old collection of his cartoons last night in our book shelf...so I reread them before bed. I think many are hilarious. His human foils for the animals (or vice versa depending on your point of view) are rather wry. Many of them became serials of a sort, with the same characters month after month. All highly eccentric. Here is a Google search to read some of them. His are first in the hits, and once you get his "style" you can recognize them very easily. . I find his multiple cat ones..with more than 30 in a room, and in different poses, very clever and astute. According to our book Booth, had 4 cats when that book came out and no dogs. But that may have changed. This is one with many cats in one room: .
