My best friend has a tortoise that she got at the reptile store as a baby. He started smaller than the palm of my hand. Gradually she has had to buy more cages for him (well fish tanks) and now he is living in her back yard. He is huge now! i saw him tonight and i cant believe. Eventually he will get as big as those gigantic tortoises at the zoo, according to her. I am not sure what kind he is, but he will keep growing and live to almost 100 years.
.
My brother had iguanas when we were younger, but I am not so sure I am into reptiles.
