Default Gracie, my new kitten

I apparently can't live without 4 cats. I had to put my Sweetie Pie down last mother's day. Still grieving for her, but found a new baby to give some lovin to. She's just adorable. My other 3 are slowly getting used to her. She got a clean bill of health from my vet yesterday and got her first baby shots. A

She is so pretty!! And soft. And cute. And lovable. Oh, I want one of those

I've got three cats now (8+ plus years old). Before I got these three, I was up to 5 at one point. Lost all my old kitties
.
and found the Mom to my 3 boys.

I just know she's gonna have a good home with you

Thanks for sharing. I love kitty pictures. Hugs.

Isn't she a dollbaby!? She sleeps at the top of my head at night. She's depserately attracted to my adopted feral, Annie, who has no qualms about keeping her queen status, lol.

Mrs. D. I don't think she'll get as big as my Chewie (Chewbaca). He's my polydactyl with 26 toes and 2 pads on each gigantic foot. He weighs 22 lbs. now.

Default Cat houses!

I used to be the most finacky house keeper... My home was always white glove perfect, almost sterile! A dog was to live outside...never inside...same with the cats....Fish were ok...they don't stink up the house!
Then one day...I began to change my ways....allowed just one cat to come in. Then a little doggie.
I fought hair balls all the time....then when my long haired cat, Sylvester died, I swore I'd NEVER allow another cat to live inside my house!
Then my life changed...clean house out the window when fatigue and pain came in. I desperatly needed companionship as I was dying (long story). My doctors felt a Service animal woud bring me comfort as I didn't want to die alone. (I had a leaking anuerism that couldn't be found....I had severe anemia, too many transfusions...lost count after 25!
.
)
Thats when my black Lab Satin came into my life....I had no idea they shed that much! OMG! Need to vacuum twice a day! Thats NOT going to happen around here!
One day while visiting a freind, found all these darling kittens, all black, long fur....destined to one day feed coyoties! I took 3, but one was for another freind who'd lost her 6 toed kitty. I named him Bitty-boo. His back legs are a little deformed and he walks funny. He was a runt, half the size of the others. His green eyes, stand out more than his golden eye'd sisters.
My husband shocked I'd brought all these cats into our home...but I promised the big footed cat would be gone as soon as he grew up a few more weeks. They were only 5 weeks old when I got them.
He latched on to Satin as she allowed him to "nurse" on her.
Bitty-Boo took a real liking to me...Tilly-tail and Princess identical twins, so we "crop" Tilly's tail...thus her name...Princess holds true to her name...she is such a snob! Very prim and proper....like a princess!
When I learned Bitty-Boo would live outside like her other lost kitty (coyote victim) I refused to let him go...he doesn't deserve to be eaten like all her other kitties were. Besides I began to bond with him.
He's now my favorite cat...now they're a year and half old.
Bitty Boo will be getting certified as a Pet Therapist this summer.
He's perfect for this...even loves strangers and is "OK" with traveling in my truck.
Tilly-tail loves my husband...she spends her entire day on his lap as he engineers important emergency radio systems for Motorola.
Princess and B-boo squable over their throne (on top of the copy machine, where its warm and has a wonderful veiw out the 2nd story window where birdies soar, and pond of Koi below.
There's often cat fights, causing commotions and distractions....I hear footsteps, then door slammed shut...all 3 kitties tossed out of their "sacred palace"...then come into their second most revered spot in our bedroom.
I have a tall cat house next to the window where I have several bird feeders.
Squrrels and birdies taunt all 3 cats...knowing the glass between them keeps them out of harms way.
There's a tiny Nut Hatch bird that keeps rushing up against the window that electrifies the cats....I'm hoping to catch this on video and post this.
I've no idea why this tiny bird keeps doing this to those cats! Weird!
Anyway...I didn't know what I was in for having 3 cats live indoors like this.
The cat box is a constant smelly mess. Their long black fur sticks to the upholstry...anyone sitting down on it walks away with half a cat on them! Ug!
My food always has little hairs in everything....those small hairs float then land in whatever I serve!
Its embarrasing! How to deal with this?!?
I tell people....like me, like my dog! You'll find a hair in every bite! Free of charge! E
.
Oh well!
The pay off is they provide me with hours of comfort....something my family has not fulfilled.
Their love in unconditional and they could care less how messy my home is!
They don't care if I haven't brushed my teeth or combed my hair....the stinkier, the better!
My life is much different now...I'm not who I once was because of illness and fatigue.
These little freinds mean all the world to me. I wouldn't trade them for the world! Messy house and all!
Blessings, cheryl
Here's a pic of B-boo watching sunrise from this revered "throne"!

OMG, Cheryl. You sound like me -->> I'll just feed him this ONCE. He's hungry. He won't stay. My son is still laughing at this one.

My son worked as a TSA at the airport. He said, he's now officially 'shipped' cat fur to every country in the world
.

At least I have one cat who LIKES to eat cat fur. I can tell when he starts eating the sofa cushions that it's time to vacuum
