Default Window to the World of Laughter

Hello everyone,

My title for this thread is Window to the World of Laughter because every morning when I wake up to coming home from work in the afternoon makes me laugh and seems to calm me in the world of uncertainty.

When I rise in the morning and look outside my dining room window I see this years pair of blue birds. She has been getting the nest ready and Dad has been dilengently (sp?) sitting on top of the feeder guarding her and the potential little ones.

Last year my hubby and I were witness to three blue birds that fledged the nest. I have a photo that is just precious to me. We were getting ready for church and was going to be late because I would not leave until I saw Mom and Dad blue bird trying to get the last one out of the nest. His little head was peeking out and then back in he would go. Finally with dad and mom's help,he fledged. WHAT A SIGHT THAT WAS!

He flew to our deck and that is where I got the picture of a life time. He sat there breathing hard and Dad came up with a sunflower seed to offer him. I clicked the camera just right. I turned to my hubby and said, "Ok, now we can go to church". We were five minutes late, but well worth it and knew God would understand.

I get to see squirrels and bunnies, cardinals, yellow finches, red finches, black/white/red woodpeckers, blue jays and yes the ever populated robins(don't care for them though, they eat the meal worms I put out for the blue birds). I see turkey and deer at dusk and an occasional groundhog (yes Phil visits all the time, lol).

They all make me laugh as they flutter, skip and play with each other or when they are down right mean and chase each other for territory. The deer how beautiful & peaceful when they eat and even though the turkeys are not that pretty and just waddle, I love them just the same.

Call me crazy, but with the way the human world is going, and the pain we are in, we all need to look out the "window to the world of laughter" in our animal/wildlife world. Take the time to find/look and see what they have to offer us.

Laughter is truely the best medicine~
.

My window to the world of laughter is with God's creatures. He allows them into my world every morning and every night to make my day a little more bearable
