Our rooster is pretty mild mannered, it is the old hen that is the mean one LOL.. I can go pet Rooie in the evening on the roost, but reach near the old hen and bam she pecks hard..she has always been a stinker.. The nice hen was the one that got trampled when the horse ran into the barn , she recovered quite well after many months, other than losing vision in one eye..and then decided to die all of a sudden out of the blue.

We did have a ornery banty rooster ages ago that chased youngest son until he tripped and fell down, by then I was chasing the little rooster away..
rooster didn't stay around long after that..

people talk about roosters and peacocks on this thread like they're as common as cats and dogs :) I don't remember if I've ever seen either one live. I guess that's the tradeoff for living in new York.

People come from everywhere to see that christmas tree. I must have seen it several hundred times on my way into work :)
But I guess you guys see trees of all kinds all the time.

You'll see it again.
You should make it a plan to go see the xmas tree in the Rockefeller Plaza this year.
