Default Federal Lawsuit?

Today I received a letter from the pet food company's insurance that I have filed the claim with. I have not yet decided what to do with the offer - and I get this letter.

"Please be advised that there has been a recent Federal Court order that prevents us from paying or discussing settlement of any of the pet food recall claims. You continue to forward recall related materials to us and once the order has lifted we will proceed with handling based on the Federal Judges instructions. "

What on earth does this mean? Is there a federal court lawsuit going on that I am not part of or aware of? This letter is vague and does not explain very well. Does anyone know what this could mean or what I should do? Obviously if I call them they won't tell me about the lawsuit, so I am trying to figure it out. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I am going to do a post on his remarkable recovery since I have him on Feline Future's Instincts TC kitten formula

I haven't herd of any Federal Law case's yet ageist the Pet food Company's. I know there was a case form one women in Mt Airy Maryland that was suing them for the lost of her cat already, and there was talk of 12 others joining in the suit; for wrongful death of their pets, mounting veterinarian Bills occurrence's for on going care of animals effected by the tainted food for reimbursements, and lost of the animals( show animals,/ breeders, and business stock). But to my understanding it hasn't been in the court room yet. It wasn't to even be herd till after the first of this year in the Court System. But I do know that the Federal Government was looking into the matter and was insisting for the Pet food company's to clean up their act. Further more there was a ongoing investigation, and possible charges pending ageist the pet food copanys. I also herd that the government was in the mist of passing laws to prevent this from happening once more. It was under Quality Control Laws. Which they have been found involution of sales of products that didn't meet safety standers,AMOUNT, OR OTHER ingredients that was NOT ON THE LIST of the products purchased.. Which means they sold a productive that didn't match the F.D.A.'s approval in one form or another. Which we all know was now was toxic.
I'LL DO SOME SNOOPING AROUND, If I find any thing about it. I'll be happy to post it for you.

My personal opinion, this is another way the insurance company gets out of paying rightful claims to the beneficiary.
