Thumbs up Two Guys and a Bulldog sing in the car:

.

This just happens to be one of my favorite songs. It has been covered by many musicians over the years. I suspect this is the only bulldog however to cover it. LOL You Raise Me Up was written by the Secret Garden member, Rolf Lovland. This duo writes and performs lovely moving music. They are one of my faves too.

.
)

We here in the US are familiar with Josh Groban's cover, which is beautiful and strong.
But many here don't know that UK Aled Jones does a wonderfully sensitive cover too:

.

The performance starts at 2:11 on the video, if you wish to skip the talk show banter that precedes it.

Please bear with me a bit on this... Aled Jones has a very rare duet out on CD and on YouTube sung with HIMSELF when he was a famous young soprano! It is from the animated movie, The Snowman.

This link shows part of the animation, and the duet of young Aled and his adult self.

.

I have never experienced a singer doing this with his historical past self!
The animated movie, The Snowman is short, and available in total on YouTube too. The young boy who sings the song on the soundtrack is not Aled. Aled recorded the Walking in the Air song independently at the time and it became a big popular hit in UK then. Our family has loved this short movie for many many years!

Thanks MrsD
Loved the video of the bulldog - reminded me of my Mum's two Australian Kelpies that used to sing along to theme songs and ads on TV. Dogs can be such intelligent and empathetic creatures.

I love that song but I love it even more now.

What a sweet dog...you can tell he's very loved. The kisses throughout the video were great!
