Heart The survivors - crows

One of my favorite animals is the crow. Way underrated in their intelligence and sorrowfully misunderstood. The American Indians thought of them as a sign of prosperity. One of the remote sites I check at work sometimes has a very large number, and counted approx 500 in the hover one time last year.

Mostly misunderstood in our society as dangerous of evil as a group of crows is called a Murder however also a horde, hover, muster, parcel. Ravens also have been labeled incorrectly as a congress or unkindness.

A group of mockingbirds has many collective nouns, including an echo, exactness, plagiary, and a ridicule. A group of Jays are known as a party or a band.

Not quite fare in my opinion for probably the most intelligent north american bird.
