I am very fond of rabbits but have never had one as a pet.
About 18 months ago my two much-loved cats died. After a grieving period, which I reckon is normal for anybody who cares about their pets, I got two new kittens. As far as you are concerned if you feel ready for a new rabbit I would go for it. I have the impression that you have trusted care-givers so maybe talk this through with them and see what they think.

Just want to say thank you for taking the time to reply and I appreciate your thoughts on the matter. Sorry to hear about your two cats it's so hard to lose an animal friend isn't it? I'm glad for you that you've got two new little buddies I hope they bring you a lot of happiness
