Default Dr Young....mad scientist!

Here's my husband trying to work.
His "girl"....very snobby to me...."Tilly-tail" insist on sitting on his lap every day while he engineers a $20 million system!
Gosh....he won't let me sit on his lap like this....rats! Besides, Tilly-tail would scratch my eyes out if I tried. She think's she's his #1 gal. I've got news for her! She thinks she's just getting a can of wet food when we lock them up in the laundry room every night. Otherwise we'd never get any sleep.
This cat is extremly focused on him. (I think its because he feeds them)
When he's away on business she cries and looks around the house for him.
Tilly-tail got her name because we shave a "nic" on her tail so we can tell her apart from her nearly identical sister named "Princess"
All 3 cats insist on being in my husbands home office every day...they often get tossed out when he's engineering schematics...... get cat paw tracts on them.....they are so curious about these huge pieces of "worthless" paper!
Sometimes the static electricity they "produce" causes glitches between the computers.....my husband has learned to "save" his work very often.
Isn't it all about them?!?!?!!!
Blessings, Cheryl

LOL maybe if you strip down to your fur he would...just a thought.

She thinks she's just getting a can of wet food when we lock them up in the laundry room every night. Otherwise we'd never get any sleep.

A note of warning here. #1 She does con you out of a can of food. #2 She may be using this time to plot with the other cats to get rid of you. You know the old saying "The only good cat is one I can keep my eyes on".

Many cats will focus on one person in the household more than others and it is not neccessarily because of who feeds them or pets them. Our cat adored my hubby who is a total care quad...he could not talk to him, pet him, or feed him but he was "daddy's cat".

I firmly believe that cats think that they are resqueing us from the dull "chores" of life and offering us the honor and priviledge, indeed the only worthwhile act of our petty lives, of petting them until they drool or get hungry.

Isn't it all about them?!?!?!!!

ABSOLUTELY!!

Blessings, Cheryl

I just love black cats. I think that they are often smarter than the average cat too.

Default too funny....

Trekker....I've made a few off color remarks to hubby....can't post that here for fear of getting "busted".Tee-hee...you can imagine!
.

I wonder what they say black cats are smarter? I havn't noticed...but they do have loads of personality....more than other cats I've...I was going to say owned....what I need to say...owned me!
Bitty-Boo knows the word "No" cuz when I say that he'll stop doing whatever I'm scolding him on.
I also told him to get back in the house and he obeys....I don't want my cats outside....coyote problems.....just awful! And he's declawed.
Blessings, cheryl
PS...have you tried logging on to old BT? I keep trying...says it doesn't recognize my email address and won't take my old password.
I reregistered @ 1AM Monday morning but have not heard back with a new password. Hmmmmm!

Great T-shirt! Did it fool the hubby to let you sit on his lap? (And yes, I can definitely imagine
.
)

Coyotes? Oh, dear! I'd hire armed guards for my cats under those circumstances. Although, I've heard we have them around here now too and we live in a fairly large city. I know for sure we have a local fox.

Cats that have well developed personalities are that way because they are smarter, at least that's my feeling on it. They pay more attention to what goes on around them and develope strategies to deal with it. They also have a larger vocabulary...they will understand more "requests" than other cats. I wanted to say orders but we all know I would be wrong lol.

Default Braggin 'bout my puddycatz!

Here's more good pics of my furbabies.....day r soooo cudant!
(They are so cute) I lub dem soooo mucho! Cheryl
PS...we have doggies too! Satin is a therapy dog...volunteers at the hospital to visit patients. She loves to dress up silly....really!
The coyotes were coming right up to our back door....I'm surprised they didn't knock on it and ask for scraps after they'd eaten our most loving cat. Then they got our 12 year old nasty cat, Freeway who was very Coyote savvy and lived outdoors her entire life. So we knew they'd jumped the little fenced in area we had in the back patio where Freeway stayed during the night....slept inside her heated cathouse. They probably stalked her and must have grabbed her out of her house during the night.
I kept a shot gun handy ready to kill all of them! But they are way too smart for me....so we must keep our kitties indoors.
