Default Maybe sorta sick topic but:

My 10 yr old, part Jack Russel dog seems to be constipated sometimes. Do you know what I can do for "Minnie"? She mostly sleeps all day. We have a 9 mo old German Shepherd puppy (bout 40 lbs more) who wants to get her to run (she does if chased) but just growls at or tries to bite "Candie" if she comes near. Perhaps just sleeping all day 'helps' to cause it but is there something safe I can do/give? Do you know, I mean

Hi Lor. Poor baby! I have a senior cat who has constipation problems as well. I think it would be best to take her to a vet and have her checked. LOL, my vet has this thing about the **** sacs. They can become impacted and cause pain when the animal tries to defacate.

I looked up on the web about dog constipation and found this interesting. You may want to scroll down a bit so you don't have to look at the horribly annoying flashing advertisement at the top.

.

I would have the vet check her though.

Oi. Guess you can't use the word '****' here, but you'll see what it is at the links.

Link isn't working either, reported to see if there's a way to bypass. Try typing with a dash between each letter. L-I-K-E that. So it can be retyped in the link manually for now.

Crikies. Just posted a whole bunch and lost this page.

Anyway, this place won't allow the word a-n-a-l. (Thanks Ellie!)

If you go to this link, it is a directory of this guy's web site. Scroll down and you will find the a-n-a-l sac disorders link.
.

Another place...
.

And Lor, not a sick subject. Just a problem with your sweet furbaby.

And this just looks like a plain old good link for all kinds of dog problems. (Also has a section for cats.)
