((Ali)) I'm so sorry to hear about your little friend. It's so hard to face these kinds of things and at the age of 58, I've had to put down quite a few pets. One as recently as last year.

Mine was kind of the same thing except my Sweetie Pie, a cat, had an intestinal tumor that spread and she was really sick. I made a spur of the moment decision, at the vet's, to have her put down after the vet told me she was suffering. It was so very hard. And she was a young cat.

I don't know what to tell you about your own. Do you have a university vet school there nearby?

I just don't know what I would do so I'm of no help for you in making a decision. It is sad that we outlive our pets, and the older you get the more pets you outlive.

Hugs and love to you for whatever you decide.

Default Re Ben

Thanks for all your posts
The vet's recommended putting Ben under anaesthetic to take an x-ray of Ben's nose. We are still making our minds up on what to do, but we think we will go with what the vets recommended. If we are going to have this done we are going to ask the vet whether or not it is a tumour and if it is we will ask him to put him to sleep, whilst heis under anaesthetic
.

It is such an hard decision, but we cant see him suffer like this
Will keep you updated
Love
Ali

that sounds like a good plan, to know for sure if it is a tumor or something serious then it's a little bit easier to make a decision.

Take care

Hi Sweetness. Be sure of your decision before you go. I made an impromptu decision about my cat Sweetie Pie last year when I took her to the vet, and have wished ever since I would have taken her home for a few more days. I dunno. I know what I did was the best thing, but I wasn't prepared to do it when I went to see the vet. Give your furbaby kisses and hugs from me.
