You will probably be aware that I have a 13 year old springer spaniel with a nasal tumour.
We took Ben to the vets today, because his nose was bleeding a lot yesterday, although it did settle down over night, thankfully!! The vet says that Ben does not appear to be in any pain, although the tumour will be really un-comfortable, because of the size, etc. The vets had a good look at his nose and says that the swelling's burst a blood vessal. He's given Ben some steriods, to try and reduce the swelling, we have to go back in 10 days for the vet to advice us on what to do. We are looking at getting another puppy, before anything happens to Ben. The vet says that it is up to us on whether we get one, but we have to go on Bens nature and whether he would be ok with a puppy. He does not seem interested in doing anything at the moment and he's always been a good natured dog Can you please advice me on what to do? Thanks Alison
