Default YES! Bounty on cats removed!

YAY for the TNR organizations who went to the Randolph, IA City Council meeting last night and convinced the mayor to allow them to implement their TNR service!!!! At the TNR orgs own cost!

Quote:
The Randolph City Council has overturned the Mayor's Cat Bounty policy and voted to let the several TNR organizations implement a TNR program in Randolph and TNR organizations are paying the cost! Please support these groups with any financial contribution you can. I will get a list of all the organization that helped this become reality.

Thanks to every single person who helped in this effort.

A huge apology to Fremont County Veterinary Clinic for being wrongly name by the City of Randolph as the clinic that was to have the stray cats killed. They should be commended for finding a smart solution to the problem by spay/neutering stray cats and delivering them to a no kill shelter (Fry's Country Bargains) in Creston Iowa. Thanks Fremont County Veterinary Clinic!!

Apparently the city was flooded with calls from all over the world!

I'm so impressed with all of the organizations and individuals who came to the aid of Randolph! And one of those organizations is HUA where I adopted Bruna.
.
And the help has already been started.

I love all the many cats I have had over the years , but I gotta tell ya, Twi and
Shadow are by far the most amazing and extraordinary kitties and have an extra part of our hearts. I would encourage anyone with a love for cats to consider adopting rescued feral kittens. We got ours through
