Default Anyone hear of flaxseed oil and cottage chz for cancer?

My extremely gereatric 14 year old Siberean Husky was diagnosed with a fibrosarcoma couple of weeks ago. Because of her overall health, the vet considers her to be a good canidate for surgery. However, I am dragging my feet not wanting to put her through such a radical procedure after my lab going through cancer surgery multiple times. So looking on line, I stumbled onto Dr Johanna Budwigs cancer treatment recipe and the miraculous testimonies. Found so many other interesting websites on this miracle combo too.

Is there anyone here with this experience? Huskeys are very finikcy eaters too, would like to hear of your ideas to get this combo down.

Lightbulb yes...

I know HUMANS using this! One friend from OBT in fact.

The studies show high Omega-6 intake by mammals led to fast death from
cancer than those given lower Omega-6 and higher Omega-3

Dr. Simopolous MD has this data in her book, The Omega Plan.

If you search Omega-3 cancer on PubMed, you will find many pages of
papers.

A friend of mine years ago had a cat with feline vaccination sarcoma..which is becoming epidemic in cats.
We put her on omega-3 only foods, and she lived a whole year longer.
You cannot cure or reverse sarcoma but you can prolong quality of life.

Lightbulb avoid

Avoid foods with CORN in them.

Feed meat, rice, and put the flax oil in the meat.

Corn is very high in Omega-6... and the high % of corn in pet food, is not there for HEALTH...but for economic cheapness.

Another source to read is IAMs website. They have been adding Omega-3
to pet food for over 10 YEARS....

Now with the sarcoma, NO Omega-6 may help for a while. But sadly pets do
pass on...we just want to make it as easy as possible at this point.

My thoughts are with you!

Sorry I got the names mixed up mrsd with doody. I'm still kind of new at this.

What is your opinion of having it surgically removed? My vet think she's stands a good chance from surgery because of her overall health. However the amount of flesh he will have to remove is like a half foot long! She will have to wear the Elizabethan collar for 8 weeks! What about recurrance? I have read so much over the internet the last 2 weeks and that some of these sarcomas come back within weeks.

I also do not understand "metastisis". The internet explains how sarcomas are fastly highly invasive turmors but that the are slow to metastisise. I probably am off on my spelling, but I am sure you understand.

Thank you for the input, I am trying to gather all the info before I make my final decision of whether to have the surgery or just keep her happy through her sunset years, months, however much the good Lord will give her.

any kind of filler they can add to our food for our pets, corn or whatever else they can find inexpensive irritates me. Only pet I have is a parrot, but I'm finding that even the bags of seeds seem to have less and less of the GOOD seeds in them!! GRRRR

Tonight Nina is very ill. Suddenly! She has never refused her favorite foods before and has been at the water dish many times. I coaxed her over to her bed and gave her a baby (stuffed animal). I have checked on her many times and laid with her. Her breathing is heavy. I am scared. I have also been sick for 2 weeks, but vomiting this last 72 hours. I actually think it's the flaxseed and cottage chz mixture which is making us ill. I have cancer too and we have both been on it for almost 2 weeks now. Any input?

Sorry to be so blunt... but stop. If you are both sick, STOP. Something is wrong. Call the Vet for Nina and call your doctor for yourself.

Just do it. PLEASE.
