As we entered the parking lot of the Walmart store the other day, I noticed a boy and his Daddy standing by a small kennel. There were people looking at something. As we got closer I could see that they had a sign up that said " Free Puppies". I really hate to see that, of course I want to save them all. I held two of the puppies and smelled that puppy breath that I they always have. I glanced at my husband as he was mouthing the words "We can't". I knew that, as we already have seven at home. I have enough trouble with taking care of myself.
We have had the seven for quite some time and they know the routine, which makes it a lot easier. The puppies we're on my mind all evening. Who would come along and get on or two puppies, take them home, and have a cruel agenda in mind. Who would know what these people would do to these little puppies? I think of my own dogs and how fortunate they are. All of my dogs are spayed and neutered. I guess that is what I'm trying to say. If you have to take your precious Little pups to a Walmart parking lot and give them away, you certainly should spay or neuter your pets. Truely a believer, D bug7 |
