Thumbs up Eagle therapy...a very touching story:

I thought this should have its own thread. It could go on the Eagle Cam
one, but it is so unique, it deserves its own home.

My husband found this on a site he watches, and gave the link to me.

The story is fascinating, and surprising really. But given that we watch the tender care the eagles provide for their young, perhaps NOT that surprising after all. The one photo, on this blog of the eagle "hug" is very touching.

The eagle and Jeff both healed each other. Doesn't get much better than THAT!

What a beautiful story. I do believe that eagle is passing on the power of healing that was given to her. Just an amazing, powerful story.

Thanks Mrs. D.

Wow what a glorious story. Being a birdwatcher, seeing our local bald eagles soaring with the currents without even moving their wings...it makes me feel like they're just gliding along, talking with God. Sounds as if this Freedom is indeed a special animal that can sense when things are wrong. Thanks Mrs D and to MrD for sharing
