Default Parakeet At My Birdfeeder Today!!

I was watching the birds outside today and noticed a green flash of color....looked out the window and there sat a pretty parakeet on my birdfeeder!! I was on the phone with Joelle (a member here on the MS Forum) and right in the middle of our conversation I blurted out "there's a parakeet on my birdfeeder!!"

He stayed out there all afternoon. I felt so bad for him because he seemed to want to sit with all the sparrows (who were all lined up on the porch railing watching him) but they'd fly away whenever he came near them.

I know he must be someones pet that got out.
.
I hope he can find his way back home. He seems to be enjoying the bird seed, though!
