DH says we have more pets than anyone.

Fleas are the worse (next to lice ugggh)

My son bought a house that was flea infested. He bought something like flea bombs and set them off in the house.

He claims it worked. Good Luck

Thanks, Bannet and Alisden.

We treated the cat (with Revolution, not Front Line) bombed the house, and treated the yard. It's improved, but the fleas aren't gone yet.

We'd been treating the cat monthly, prior to the infestion, but DH was using cheap stuff from WalMart instead.

Hope we get it taken care of. Right now, we're just using an insect spray around house (carpets, furniture, etc.), whenever we notice some fleas. If that doesn't work, we'll keep trying things.

Hi Faith,

It's good your DH can keep his sense of humor in this situation. Years ago when we took in two stray dogs, plus had one of our own, we became flea infested before we even realized what was going on. I'm one of those people that fleas don't seem to bother, but my ex was always bit up.

Yes, the Advantage, Front Line, etc., stuff seems to work really well. My Bichons have never had a problem and the vet told me that fleas really like their soft white hair.

Good luck getting rid of those unwanted critters!
