He was desexed about a month ago and is becoming a new man. I can tell the hormone levels have dropped. He will never be a warm fuzzy lap cat but he is now attentive and initiates play with me...............his way, of course. After all, he is still a cat.

No more urine in the bathtub. I still try to keep the door closed all of the time but sometimes I forget. Before, he would take any/every opportunity to get in there and use the tub. Now he only tries to go in if I am in there. Are all cats obscessed with our bodily functions?

No more spraying the stereo in the bedroom. I never figured that one out. Again, I don't let him in the bedroom unless I am in there. Now he just gets up on the bed and swats at me when I walk by. He comes out when I call him the first time now.

I am so relieved that this did the trick. I have had him for a year and is great company, even on his naughtiest days. If I am having a bad day, I can tell him all about it and he doesn't tune me out...............as long as I continue to scratch his chest.

If he was urinating in the bathtub, you'd think he'd just drift on over to the toilet eventually and use it, lol.

Trust me, we had many discussions concerning the fact that the toilett was just mere inches from the tub. Since he is awestricken with the computer, I even showed him a U Tube film of a cat using the toilett. He was bored. You can find just about anything on U Tube. LOL!!!!

her neutering! He should have done it sooner, but she was sooo thin the vet said to wait. Then she came into heat and started urinating around the house, and he couldn't find a vet to do the operation while she was still in heat.

So consider yourself lucky. Should you introduce another cat to your household, he may go back to spraying. Just keep that in mind! But so far so good, i'd say!

I'm having a problem with Bruna right now digging into my cat litter boxes, it is deesgusting! I come home and her eyes are literally rimmed with pieces of litter as is her nose, and her nails are filthy from digging in it.

Ha!!!!!!! The little prince will remain an only child. This is a tiny one bedroom apt. and he is extremely territorial aka spoiled.

I started with one little kitten.....just the one!

At one stage (before the cat's offspring went to new homes) I had one dog, 7 cats and an aviary full of birds.....not to mention the goldfish that had gone to the great ocean in the sky.

Seriously though, I'm so glad your kitty has settled down. It sounds like he'll make you a lovely pet.
