LOL my cats RUN FOR THE HILLS when I turn on my vacuum. I would love to get a Dyson but can't as yet.

Lara, yes, the Furminators are expensive! I got mine on E-bay like Gazelle. The medium sized one for $25 with free shipping. They are WAY more expensive at pet shops!

Gazelle, I completely understand with those little love bites. That's what Tink usually will do. As soon as she is starting to get irritated by the combing she'll start nipping and then eventually it goes into full fledged slapping!
